Used on: a small set of European kegs that use the L probe; confirm by keg and importer.
The L coupler is one of the rarer heads and taps only kegs built for the L probe, so it will not interchange with a D, S or A keg. Like the others it dispenses through 5/8 BSP (7/8-14) ports, so once coupled the beer and gas line connect the same way as on any coupler.
Flare fittings seal on the 45 degree flare face and must never be taped. Push-in fittings seal on an O-ring against the tube wall and need the tube cut square. Barbs seal under a worm clamp. Getting the sealing method right matters more than the thread label, because most homebrew leaks are a taped flare or an unclamped barb.
