Connect CO2 distribution manifold to MFL male flare (1/4")

How to join 1/4" MFL or 5/16" barb ports and 1/4" MFL (7/16"-20 UNF), and what stops it leaking.

The two ends

End A
CO2 distribution manifold (1/4" MFL or 5/16" barb ports)
End B
MFL male flare (1/4") (1/4" MFL (7/16"-20 UNF))
A seals on
flare face or barb clamp at each outlet; 1/4 NPT feed taped
B seals on
metal 45 degree flare face, never PTFE tape
Part needed
none, direct fit

A CO2 distribution manifold with MFL outlets already presents a male flare at each port, so an FFL swivel or a push-in flare fitting screws straight on. Each outlet sits behind its own check valve to stop beer backing up between kegs.

The MFL outlets seal on the flare face, so never tape them. If a manifold outlet is a 5/16 barb rather than a flare, it wants 5/16 line and a clamp instead; check which outlet type your manifold has before buying line ends.
