The part to buy
To take EVABarrier 8mm line onto a flare-threaded disconnect, regulator or manifold, use a Duotight 8mm to 1/4 MFL fitting. The push-in end grips the tube on its O-rings, the MFL end seals on the 45 degree flare of the matching FFL.
The MFL end still seals on the flare, not the thread, even though it is on a plastic push-in body. Screw it into an FFL swivel or port and let the flare seat. No tape.
