Connect Sanke D coupler (American Sankey) to Duotight 9.5mm push-in
How to join type D, G5/8 ports and 9.5 mm (3/8") OD, and what stops it leaking.
Not a direct fit. Joining Sanke D coupler (American Sankey) to Duotight 9.5mm push-in needs a Duotight 9.5mm to 5/8 BSP fitting (onto the coupler beer port).
The two ends
- End A
- Sanke D coupler (American Sankey) (type D, G5/8 ports)
- End B
- Duotight 9.5mm push-in (9.5 mm (3/8") OD)
- A seals on
- flat washer on each threaded port; barbs seal under a worm clamp
- B seals on
- double EPDM O-ring on the tube outer wall
- Part needed
- Duotight 9.5mm to 5/8 BSP fitting (onto the coupler beer port)
The part to buy
For 3/8 line, a Duotight 9.5mm to 5/8 BSP fitting screws onto the D coupler's 5/8 BSP beer-out port and takes EVABarrier 9.5mm tube. It is the larger-line version of the same connection and suits UK 3/8 dispense off a commercial keg.
Size the fitting on your tube, not the coupler. The coupler port is 5/8 BSP whether your line is 8mm or 9.5mm; the 9.5mm body simply will not accept 8mm tube, so match it to the line you run.
