Used on: the smaller Duotight line, EVABarrier 4mm ID x 6.5mm OD tube for tight runs, sample taps and compact gas jumpers.
The 6.5mm body is the odd one out in the range: its 1/4 inch nominal size means it takes the 4mm ID x 6.5mm OD EVABarrier, not the 5/16 (8mm) size. A 6.5mm tube will not seat in an 8mm collet, so step up with a 6.5mm to 8mm reducer rather than forcing it.
Flare fittings seal on the 45 degree flare face and must never be taped. Push-in fittings seal on an O-ring against the tube wall and need the tube cut square. Barbs seal under a worm clamp. Getting the sealing method right matters more than the thread label, because most homebrew leaks are a taped flare or an unclamped barb.
