Used on: some European mini CO2 cartridges and repurposed DIY welding CO2 chargers.
M10x1 is a fine metric thread found on some small European CO2 cartridges and DIY welding-gas sources, not on any keg regulator. It needs a dedicated M10x1 holder or adapter to reach a CGA-320 or W21.8 regulator, so confirm the cartridge is genuinely M10x1 before buying a holder rather than assuming it matches a soda cylinder.
Flare fittings seal on the 45 degree flare face and must never be taped. Push-in fittings seal on an O-ring against the tube wall and need the tube cut square. Barbs seal under a worm clamp. Getting the sealing method right matters more than the thread label, because most homebrew leaks are a taped flare or an unclamped barb.
