Connect Ball-lock quick disconnect to Pin-lock quick disconnect
How to join ball-lock QD, MFL or barb tail and pin-lock QD, MFL or barb tail, and what stops it leaking.
Not compatible. Ball-lock quick disconnect and Pin-lock quick disconnect do not share a mating thread, so there is no adapter between them; fit the part that matches your hardware.
The two ends

The part to buy
Ball-lock and pin-lock disconnects are not interchangeable because they engage the post differently: a ball-lock snaps over a smooth post shoulder, a pin-lock locates on pins. One will not lock onto the other keg's posts, so you fit the disconnect type that matches the keg.
The tail side, MFL or barb, is a separate choice from the lock type. A ball-lock and a pin-lock disconnect can both have a 1/4 MFL tail and connect line the same way; what you cannot mix is the lock body and the keg. Identify the keg first.
